I am a passionate film producer and filmmaker with 10+ years of experience creating visual storytelling across different production environments. I specialize in producing, scheduling, coordinating, and planning in order to keep projects organized, efficient, and moving smoothly from development through delivery. I love creative problem-solving, working with teams to develop ideas on set and in post-production.
Union Avenue - Trailer (Producer)
“Union Avenue” was my senior thesis film for my undergraduate degree in film production, producing at Cal State Northridge. For this film project, I was primarily the head of pre-production. My responsibilities included budget, casting through the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), coordinating with both props and stunt teams, and creating production headquarters/base camp.
Ikigai - Trailer (1st Assistant Director)
On this production, I served as First Assistant Director. The project was uniquely complicated for everyone involved. My responsibilities included coordinating all aspects of the production schedule while abiding by the parameters of strict child actor labor law. These laws added complications that included an on-site set teacher, regulated working hours, and full SAG compliance and documentation for all of the underage student actors involved.
Eureka Fest - Promotional Video (Videographer & Editor)
I was an editor for the video packages as well. The final package included a single wrapped-up video summarizing the entire event, small spot features on each speaker and their takeaways, and a complete video mix of the live events happening on the main stages. Most of these activities took place simultaneously, so there was a lot of scheduling required to make sure each
event was being captured, while still leaving time to shoot everything else.
Pieces - Music Video (Producer, 1st Assistant Director, Editor)
This music video used many of my abilities on set. Producing and 1st assistant directing on the same project was a challenge, but ultimately we were able to shoot the entire thing in a single day!
